The XXIst edition of the EuroFoodChem conference was originally foreseen to be held in September 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the congress in Serbia has been postponed to September 2023. To keep the tradition of a biannual congress, the Food Chemistry Division of the European Chemical Society (FCD-EuChemS) decided to maintain the organization this year, though in a virtual format.

Therefore, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the XXIst EuroFoodChem conference, which will be held on-line from 22-24 November 2021.
The scientific program will include the following topics:

 – Food composition and authenticity

 – Functional food

 – Food processing

 – Food safety

 – Circular economy in the food value chain

 – Healthy and sustainable diets

 – Future foods

The deadline for abstract submission is 1st October 2021 for oral communications and flash presentations and 22nd October 2021 for posters.
